ABOUT US Presented by:

Colorado B.A.S.S. Federation's main purpose
is to stimulate public awareness of bass fishing as a major sport and to offer
the Colorado Department of Wildlife and other organizations moral and
political support and encouragement. To promote full adherence to all
conservation codes and to demand adequate water standards and legal
enforcement of existing regulatory standards. The CBF also actively pursues
lobbying efforts targeted at issues such as the 15 inch minimum on bass,
developing new regulations, warm water fish hatcheries, camping/access, catch
and release awareness, and other issues that directly relate to the management
of bass waters, in the state. The CBF has three primary purposes: (1) insure
the future of fishing through the protection and enhancement of fishery
resources; (2) promote bass fishing across Colorado as a major sport; and (3)
introduce youth to the joys of fishing and instill the appreciation of the
life-giving waters of Colorado.
Colorado B.A.S.S. Federation is an organization composed of all the chapters in Colorado. The CBF acts as the governing body with representatives from each chapter.
New members are invited to join a local B.A.S.S. Chapter.
